Description
Rose — a climbing plant of the Rosaceae family,
the flower with the greatest number of cultivated varieties in the world.
Human beings began to cultivate roses intentionally
as early as the Late Neolithic period.
When the rose first came into the language of love
has long been forgotten.
More than forty thousand forms of roses have been created, named, and loved —
each a small narrative about love,
as if romance itself were written into its very genes.
“The time you spent on your rose made your rose so important.”
A crocheted rose from Forest Never Faded
is formed through more than 1,700 hand stitches —
shaped slowly,
made precious through time.
Material
Environmentally conscious pure cotton yarn
Height
Approximately 40-47cm
Each crocheted stem is handmade by artisans. Variations in length and proportion may occur, and subtle handmade marks are inherent to the handcrafted process.
