Description
The lily of the valley, a perennial herb of the Asparagaceae family,
bears small, nodding clusters of white or pale pink bells.
Its scent is sweet, yet tinged with fresh greenery.
Beloved by Monsieur Dior,
its silhouette and delicate details are quietly captured in the collections,
continuing to inspire Dior.
Legend tells that it was scattered by angels to dispel sorrow.
Such gentle symbolism has made it one of the most beloved choices
for bridal bouquets today.
Each year on May 1st, France celebrates Fête du Muguet.
Regarded as a flower of luck and happiness,
it is exchanged in bouquets and worn as small pins among friends and family —
a wish for good fortune and joy.
The wind carries good news,
and the bells begin to ring.
